Band Map
As spots are received via packet (either through a traditional TNC or via Telnet), they are listed in order by frequency in the LogPro Band Map. All spots for the last 60 minutes are shown. The spots are color-coded to indicate their age (thanks to N6TR for this idea). White = 0 - 10 min old; Yellow = 10 to 20 min old; Green = 20 to 30 min old; and various shades of diminishing blue for spots 30 to 60 min old. Spots older than 60 min are removed from the band map. For example, in the display below, spots for V73NS, XE1MM, VE3FAL, etc. are less than 10-min old. As you can see we had a nice 6-meter opening going when I captured this screen!

If a spot is received for the same station on another frequency, the band map is corrected (only the latest spot for any station is shown to track any frequency changes). You can click on any call in the band map and get the complete spot, plus information on the DXCC country and CQ Zone it represents, and the opportunity to command your rig to go to that frequency and mode.
On contest weekends the band map will fill with spots, in which case new spots replace the oldest spot in the band map. In this way, only the most recent spots are shown.
